Welcome to Year 1 and 2
We have 18 fantastic children in Year 1 and 2.
Our Class Teachers are Mrs Birkett, Mrs Slater-Dudding and Mrs McCarthy is our HLTA and Miss Mason is our Teaching Assistant.

PE
Please can children bring their PE kits with them every Monday for the week ahead.
PE kits should include: - white t-shirt, black shorts/long joggers or leggings (winter months), trainers, caps and sun cream (summer months).
Homework
Homework will be sent out on a Monday and collected on a Friday in the children's homework folders. All children are encouraged to ask in school if any help is needed with their homework.
Homework will include weekly spellings as well as a piece of Maths or a piece of English work.
Children may also be given Topic work occasionally to support learning in class.
Children are also encouraged to read with an adult five times a week to achieve their 'Strive for Five'.
Water
We encourage all children to bring a named water bottle to school every day. The children are encouraged to stay hydrated and can refill their bottle throughout the day if needed.
